- On Thursday 22 October 2009 at 4pm GMT, my @Happysoul account was suspended with no warning or no reason given.
- For 24 hours from this date, my Awesome Twitter Friends went all out to get my account reinstated by tweeting to Twitter confirming my legitimacy and giving great character references.
- By Friday 23 October 2009 at 5pm GMT, when I logged back in, my account was working smoothly again. "Sorry for the inconvenience" was the only explanation given by Twitter Support but I'm still very grateful to be back in-world with my Twitter Friends.
- In light of these recent events, I would like to honour my lovely friends for their AWESOMENESS to fight my corner relentlessly for nearly 24 hours until I was reinstated. Simply THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.❤(If I've forgotten to include Twitter Friend(s) who also tried to help me, please do contact me and I will definitely include you in this Special Follow Blog)
TWITTER ACCOUNT SUSPENSION
❶ TIPS & ADVICES: If you ever have had the unfortunate situation to be suspended, this excellent article "When Your Twitter Account Gets Suspended" by @mistygirlph via @bitrebels helped me a great deal to keep calm and follow the steps required to be reinstated again
❷ PERSONAL EXPERIENCES: I wanted to write a summary of my personal experiences being suspended and in Twitter Jail. However, I've been unable to start up the blog in question. In the meanwhile, I have found the best article "Inside of a Banned Twitter account" with detailed screenshots describing a direct experience of being officially banned/ suspended by Twitter by a friend and well respected tweep in Twitterverse: @askaaronlee.
